Guidelines for All Applicants:☾ Provide three samples only of your best work, adding a portfolio is optional but recommended. If you submit more than three samples, your application will be disqualified. ☾ If you’re using Google Drive, please make sure that link sharing is turned on. We will not consider applications that we need to request permission to view.
☾ Please submit in the style you wish to create with during the zine (consistency will be a factor in our rating).
☾ At least one piece featuring Jujutsu Kaisen characters is required.
☾ Please properly tag your pieces. ☾ Please specifically tag all pieces including insects (bees and spiders specifically) and bodily fluids/excrement. We will not be considering applications that are not properly tagged.
☾ NSFW pieces and gore in samples are acceptable as long as properly tagged as such.
☾ Please be 18 years or older by the time results are announced (February 23).
☾ There will be zero tolerance for any involvement in illegal/discriminatory groups or activities (i.e. racial hate groups, homophobic/transphobic groups, illegal businesses, etc.). Any person found to be participating in such activities will be disqualified.
☾ We will not be surveilling/controlling what contributors create on their own time.

☾ Please include at least one horror-themed sample
☾ JJK samples are preferred but not necessary as long as you believe you can finish putting together a JJK cosplay and shoot during the creation period

Merch Artist-Specific Guidelines:☾ We are looking for 5-6 merch artists
☾ Judging Criteria includes: Composition, style, Color, legibility, consistency
☾ Samples of merch you have created before is not required, but highly recommended either as one of your three samples or a part of your portfolio.

Writer-Specific Guidelines:☾ We are looking for 4-5 writers
☾ Judging Criteria includes: grammar, Characterization, pacing, flow, consistency
☾ For short story writers, We will not be considering samples under 1.5k words or over 2.5k words.
☾ For short story writers, excerpts are acceptable as samples. However, one sample must be a complete fic within the word count.
☾ For poets, we will not be considering samples over 4 pages long.
☾ Samples of pieces in the horror genre are not required but would be a plus.
☾ You may apply as both a writer and a poet, but may only be accepted for one position.

Based compensation will include a free e-copy of the book. If sales allow it, contributors will also be provided with the physical bundle as well.
Any remaining profits will be split evenly amongst all participants in the making of this zine._ _

What content is allowed in this zine?
Horror-centric pieces involving the characters or Jujutsu Kaisen. Canon-typical violence and gore is to be expected.
As this is a horror zine, expect common horror tropes involving fear, violence, and other unsettling tropes that come with the genre to be present.Ships will NOT be allowed. Nor will explicit sex & extreme levels of gore.
We are defining 'Extreme Levels' as any gore that eclipses what is already present in the manga.
